While exploring an ancient alien spacecraft, David discovers a mysterious room. During his investigation, he activates a data archive that logs the Engineers search for a new home. As the orrery comes to life, the Engineers find a planet that may have everything they need.
Prometheus, at its heart, is a creation myth, describing the origin of life of Earth in Ridley Scott’s Alien universe. In this rescore, the music makes use of a simple motif, that builds and transforms to depict the scene’s biblical undertones.
